The Disney Rewards Visa is another popular Chase credit card and it's one my mother-in-law carries regularly. I do plan meals on a weekly basis. I've considered doing it a month at a time. But, I don't think I could do a whole year. On a weekly or monthly basis, I can keep track of other obligations that would impact dinner - kids sports/activities, family gatherings, etc. Planning out a year ahead, I would end up having to make adjustments almost every week as I find out about these obligations anyway.
