The shamrock is a symbol of good luck among the Irish. I'm Lee Woodruff at the craft table with Family Fun and anyone would be lucky to have this charming accessory.
You'll need a baking sheet, green polymer clay one shade or two partially blended to create a swirled effect, a paper clip, a pencil, and, of course, a key ring. Roll three equal sized balls out of clay. Ours are one inch thick. Now mold each ball into a heart shaped leaf, put them on a baking sheet, and smush together the pointed ends until they stick. Set one end of a paper clip on top of the joint points, the other end should extend out as a stem would. Now press a flattened bit of clay over it to seal it in. Turn the shamrock over and etch a center crease in each leaflet with a pencil. Bake the clay according to the manufacturer's directions and once the charm is cool, slide the paper clip onto a split key ring. Hang this cute clay clover from a key chain or a backpack.
