Made these last year for my nephews class. Also peanut free school. Used chocolate covered marshmellows instead of PB cup. Also was easier to use red twizzlers for tassel. You can pull them apart an they look more like real tassels.

Substitute the PB Cups with those mini brownies that can be made or purchased in large tubs at the local club stores.

I love this but...My daughter's school is "peanut free." Does anyone have any ideas on substitutes for peanut butter cups?

Very easy and fun to make even with children helping. We found it a little easier to us a fruit roll up cut on the edges instead of rolling out a fruit chew. We just cut the roll up to the length we needed and then cut the tassel end and then rolled up. They were a big hit at two parties!
