Fun with Felt

Two small rectangular pieces of felt form the front and back of these colorful animals. For facial features, cut various shapes out of the rest of your felt and add googly eyes. This baby bird simply needs a triangular bird beak and some glued on plumage. Even the smallest scraps of felt can be used to make this colorful necklace. Using a needle and doubled up thread, simply string your felt pieces together. For a more elaborate design, string on a colorful button or a bead. For a fun group project make felt banners, one for each member of your family, class, or sports team. Who knew you could create so many projects from scraps of felt.
