Fireworks Shirt

Show your spirit this July 4th with this homemade t-shirt. I'm Lee Woodruff at the crafts table with Family Fun and I promise it's much easier than it looks.

You'll need a plain t-shirt, paper, glittery fabric paint, paper plates, and pipe cleaners. Place the paper inside a plain t-shirt to keep the paint from staining the shirt's back. Pour one or more colors of glittery fabric paint onto your paper plates. Create stamps to print fireworks. Arrange four pipe cleaners in a bunch, pinch the center, and then bend all eight ends over your thumb and twist them together a few times. It should form a loop. Spread apart the ends and make a stand for each color of paint you want to use. Dip a stamp into the paint so that it's evenly coded and press it firmly onto the shirt. Once you finish your design, let the paint dry thoroughly and refer to the paint manufacturer's directions before laundering the shirt. These tees are a fun group project and they make any event more festive.
