Hi, I'm Lee Woodruff with the Family Fun Minute. We'll show you three projects that take cereal boxes out of the kitchen and into the craft room.
For a new carry all, first remove the box's top flaps, create handles by cutting ovals on the front and back of the box, and then use Mod Podge to stick on decorative paper. Finish off by sealing the entire box with a coat of Mod Podge. Covered with contact paper and a black tape roadway, this travel box is just the ticket for packing games, toys, and snacks to take a lot on a road trip. And for one of a kind sandals, have your child trace her feet on a cereal box, cut out the footprints, and tape on some straps and you're ready to wear. Kids can leave as is or personalized with accessories. Now that's really thinking outside the box, the cereal box that is.
