Cable Car Museum

Hi, my name is Jose Godoy, I'm with the Cable Car Museum in San Francisco, one of the top-ten free attractions in the world, a must stop when you're in the city. We're close to Chinatown, North Beach and not too far from Fisherman's Wharf as well. One of the best things about the museum here, is you actually get to see heart of the cable car system: the machinery, the transmissions, the gears, the tension wheels, the pulleys, the underground working; you see it all. You also get to see some of the mechanisms: the grips, the brakes and a track as well. We have some artifacts in display cases such as a transfer and fair registers and conductors' badges.
