Batty Finger Puppets

Need an easy to make Halloween decoration that's also a party activity? Hi, I'm Forbes Riley at the craft table with Family Fun. These batty finger puppets will sure set a spooky party mood right off the bat.

You'll need a sheet of white paper for the template, black construction paper, scissors, a pen, a white or silver crayon, glue, a whole punch, a large black pom pom, and two googly eyes. To make a batch create a template by drawing a large bat on a single sheet of paper or download a printable bat template from our website. Use it to cut as many bats as you like out of black construction paper. You can use a hole punch for the finger holes. To give the wings dimension, outline them with white or silver crayon and then fold them. Glue on a large pom pom body just below the ears and above the finger holes. Once the glue is dry add to the two googly eyes. Your kids will love to get their fingers on these simple to make puppets.
