About Me

Fun's the name of my game, from practicing juggling to eating new foods to laughing at the silliness surrounding us. Join the fun here on Family.com and in my personal blog, Red Nose.

About My Family

I've been married to Joe for 26 years; we have one son. My son is a police officer -- but how two old hippies raised a cop is a mystery. That's karma for you!

Bearing arms

You know, we wouldn't buy our son toy guns when he was little, so he made his own. And then he became a cop when he grew up. Karma? Who knows?

Princess Movies on DVD

Or maybe he'd be an athlete. He... Read More

I'm A Sucker for Happy Endings

June 16, 2007
This afternoon I indulged myself. I watched three movies that always make me tear up. Well, actually, I watched the ends of two movies and all of one - but the ends are best parts!

I turned on the tube and there it was - the last 30 minutes of Moonstruck, one of my favorite romantic comedies ever. I came in on the part where Loretta (Cher) goes to the opera with Ronny (Nicholas Cage). The parts that make me cry? When... Read More
