When Prenatal Care is a Bore
Oh, yes, I remember those days well. My husband didn't come to our second baby's u/s -- I held the cell phone while they were doing it so we could hear "it's a boy!" or "it's a girl" together. He did make it the third time around, though!
Oh -- I LOVED my 3 c-sections, so that wouldn't have been a threat for me!
Product review: Rival Crock Pot
Oh, how I love my crockpot! I've used it more this past year than ever, what with ballet and karate and Cub Scouts and soccer and MOPS and PTA, and SOMEBODY STOP ME! I think mine cooks a tad hot -- four frozen chicken breasts are DONE after 4 hours on low, while the guide says it should take 6-8. I couldn't get along with out it, though! Mine is a cute cherry pattern to match my kitchen so I can just leave it out!
Not Acceptable?Is Your Child Kinder Ready?
This was my dilemma last year. We ultimately decided to keep our daughter in a small PreK-K bridge program. While it was a decision I won't regret, last year's concern (maturity) really hasn't improved - perhaps she's just got a "silly" personality! Her teacher assures me she'll do just fine, though, and I was assured of the same thing last year. Better safe than sorry, however, and I'm glad she had the benefit of the extra year.
