This is a great idea! Just the kind to use and pass on to others. I have a wonderful bunch of Grandchildren and I have used many ways to show my appreciation of their art but I do believe this one may be the best plan to date. Thank You!
Not Acceptable?Sea Glass Window Hangings
My parents loved to bring home driftwood, (sometimes it was rivers that supplied the driftwood because we didn't make it to the ocean very often) and fashion centerpieces that included flowers, (they were plastic in those days) and shells and stones. We also used terra cotta flower pots covered with plaster of Paris that we stuck shells and stones into while it was still wet. What fun memories you have brought to me today scince both my parents and sister have gone to be with the Lord.
Not Acceptable?Winning the Water Bottle Battle
I remember that a few years ago there was a big deal about aluminum containers contributing to Alzhimers. Too bad glass is breakable isn't it? All last summer I was freezing water in plastic bottles for the landscaping crew in an effort to keep them drinking water during the 100 degree summer workdays. I really do not know what is the best thing to do for our families and I usually try to err on the side of caution but sometimes it seems there are no safe answers.
