3 Skills a Preschooler Really Needs

July 18, 2007

I love this article, it is well writen. I would have to agree, for my daughter I stressed so much academics, only because she had picked up must of the social skills from Sunday school, but for my son I am so flustered at the thought, with him being the complete oppisite. I am definantly going to take this story to concideration as I prepare him for preschool. Thanks.

Parent Moments: In Sickness and In Health

July 18, 2007

Being there while your child is sick, is the hardest to go through, but that trip will come, it just will be better the next time. Sometimes those are signs that maybe it just isn't time yet to get away. I know my husband and I have been married for almost 6 years, with two kids one 5 and one 3, we have found that as they get older our dates have gotten longer. At first it was just a evening away for a couple hours and then it came to night at home and the kids stayed with grandma, now we have gotten away for a three day weekend, but it just makes those moments much more worth it.

Your marriage will last, your child being sick is what is important and you know what I found is the most important thing to a sick child is their parents. so I applaud you writer. You did the right thing although it is sad that he had to suffer for so long.
