Shoshone Lake Hike Description

This hike follows the forest's edge along DeLacy Creek, ending up at Shoshone Lake, the largest backcountry lake in the U.S. There are lovely meadows along the way, and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. And the lake is ripe for skipping stones from the water's pebbly shore. Rated as moderately difficult, this one is probably best for older kids.
