Fairy Falls Hike Description

The sight at the end of this hike is as magical as its name suggests, with the waterfall looming an impressive 200 feet high. Though the hike can be long, it is considered an easy level. It's accessible from two different trailheads: Steel Bridge parking area one mile south of the Midway Geyser Basin; and Fountain Freight Road parking area one mile south of the Nez Perce picnic site. Distances are 5 miles (8.3 km) from trailhead one, and 7 miles (5.5 km) from trailhead two.
