Mirror Lake State Park in Wisconsin Dells

What we loved:
A wonderful quiet get away yet close to all the excitement of the Dells

What we didn't love:
Can be crowded on weekends in the summer

My family loves this park! Not only for day use, it is a great place to camp! Very modern facilities and many of the sites are nice and wooded. The camp hosts are wonderful as is the park staff! Even though there may not be many paved trails, the rest of the trails are kept in excellent shape and are fun to walk. We especially enjoyed the trails that lead off from the beach. We especially enjoy exploring the lake by canoe, the sandstone bluffs are beautiful and since the lake is a no wake lake, its easy to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is a great handicapped accessible fishing pier near the boat landing. Weve also enjoyed the parks interpretive programs. Let alone the park is close to the Dells with all of the other family activities that are offered, we rate this our #1 attraction in the area!
