Noah's Ark Waterpark Description

The boasting is big at most Dells attractions, but in the case of Noah's Ark, it really is the world's largest waterpark. In addition to dozens of thrilling water slide attractions, Noah's Ark mixes up the traditional waterpark experience with extras like the new 4,000 square foot Tadpole Bay (a separate area just for tots), the 4-D "Spongebob" movie experience (where viewers get soaked and poked at in a kids' version of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"), and even a miniature golf course if you're feeling pruny.

  • Water Park

Kid Tips

Toddlers & Pre-K: Lifejackets and wet suits are available for free (a $20 refundable deposit is required). Little ones prone to sensory overload should skip the 4-D "Spongebob" movie.

Pre-Teens & Teens: The Black Anaconda, which whips around for over a quarter of a mile (much of it in total darkness), is the most exciting slide ride, hands down.

Planning Notes

    • Deep discount for toddlers. Kids under two get in for free.
    • BYOT. Towels are available for purchase but not rental, so bring your own beach towels.
    • Shorter lines later on. On hot days, staying past 4 p.m. pays off in fewer crowds and shorter waits for rides.
    • Get a locker. Car keys and sunglasses are the most frequently lost items at the park. Lock up your valuables so you can enjoy the rides and wave pools worry free.
    • Check age and height restrictions carefully. Smaller children can accompany adults on some rides, but others are simply too fast or scary for little ones. The Web site has a ride-by-ride list.
    • Go during the week. There are fewer crowds and shorter lines on weekdays.
