Lautenbach's Country Orchard Winery & Market Description
Door County is known for its orchards and wineries, and especially for its abundant cherry crops — all of which take center stage at this country market, a mainstay of the area since the 1950s. Kids love sampling fresh juices while their parents try wines at the tasting bar, or selecting pies and other tantalizing goodies from the market. During the winter, horse-drawn sleigh rides delight the whole family. From mid-summer to fall, head out to the cherry or apple orchards and pick yourself a snack.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Don't worry about little ones getting bored while Mom and Dad are browsing the market. A playground right outside the front door gives them ample opportunity to burn off steam before or after you shop.
School-Age Kids: Be sure to hit the market tasting room, for tantalizing complimentary samples of baked goods and more.
