Taffy Town Description
Puffy colorful letters announce that you've arrived at the TAFFY TOWN factory store, where the Glade family has been in the business of making this sticky favorite since the turn of the century. Watch an engaging, kid-pleasing 40-minute partially animated video about how saltwater taffy is made and how the business got started, sample the taffy (try butter popcorn or pomegranate), and check out the design taffy (American flags, anyone?). Saltwater taffy is the perfect Salt Lake City souvenir, but they also sell fudge and other candy, like jawbreakers and lollipops.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Hooray for free samples! Also, pony up for the paddle boats—they'll love every minute of it. The amusement park's chair swings, little cars, a merry-go-round, and Ferris wheel are perfect for younger school-aged kids.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Adventurous kids should try the Xtreme hot taffy.
