Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch Description
For unpredictable entertainment, nothing beats a drive-through safari. It's a hoot when hungry zebras block the road to blackmail drivers for eats (all guests get bags of food on the way in). And, kids love it when the ostriches stick their heads inside the car -- although the long-necked birds can be a little stubborn about getting back out. Look for 50 different species -- about 400 animals in all. Most of them are free to roam, except for the carnivores (who are penned off), no doubt to avoid unscheduled demonstrations of the food chain pecking order.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: The animals look awesome -- from a distance. Consider starting the tour with the windows closed.
School-Age Kids: Look, but don't touch. Save the petting for the pygmy goats at the on-site petting zoo.
Planning Notes
- Car doors must be closed. Windows, however, can remain open.
- Come early in the day. That way, you can tour more than once.
- Please feed the animals. Cars get one bag of feed; additional bags can be purchased for $1 each.
