The Aztec Theater Description
Burning flames, blasting special effects, flashing lights. Nope, not the movie -- the pre-show. After being lovingly restored back to its ornate and over-the-top self (think Grauman's Chinese theater -- it was designed by the same folks), the garishly vintage Aztec introduced some old-time entertainment, namely the pre-show in the lobby. Kids accustomed to whiz-bang attractions will love the giant snake, the big Aztec head, and all the shooting lasers that go with it. Stay for the feature, and you'll get the ultimate nostalgia: a silent short accompanied by a Wurlitzer Organ.
