Rio San Antonio Cruises Description
The colorful little boats that cruise up and down the perfectly manicured San Antonio River are cute -- so cute, in fact, that kids will think they're on a theme-park ride. Such kid-friendliness is the perfect launch for a historic tour of the city. Thirty-five minute cruises travel a 2.5-mile stretch, leisurely passing landmarks while narrators inject their personal spin (some are hilarious). The water way, with its lovely arched stone bridges and flowing greenery, completes the theme-park effect -- but without the flume drop at the end.

School-Age Kids: The combination of cute boats and funny guides make this one of the rare historical tours kids will really get into.
