Nasher Sculpture Center Description
It's mod and masterful — and will be the catalyst for many a conversation for the kids on what, exactly, defines art. Awe-inspiring pieces are scattered throughout the indoor galleries, but it's the outdoor sculpture garden that gets the most attention, with contemporary pieces that soar into the sky, reflect light, and offer a glimpse into another world. A serene spot for a picnic in the middle of the Arts District.
Kid Tips
Babies: Strolling is easy both inside and out in the sculpture garden.
Toddlers & Pre-K: Not a good option for them, as the sculptures are much too tempting for little hands.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Be sure to have them walk through Serra's massive curved pieces outside for a perspective on light and sound.
