Six Flags Over Texas Description
This is where the Six Flags theme park was born; Texas has been under the rule of six different national flags in its short history. More than 50 rides, from tot-friendly ones based on cartoon characters to all-out wild roller coasters await families; kids of all ages will beg to stay late for the nightly electric parade through the park. A color-coded rating system makes it easy for parents to determine whether a ride is appropriate for their crew, and a themed area makes it easy for those with the youngest of guests to keep the fun contained.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: There are more than a dozen rides that are just for little ones (shorter than 36 inches). Most are in the Looney Tunes area, with a few in the Texas section of the park.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The most adventurous teens will line up time and again for the Batman ride, which twists and turns 11-stories high at speeds up to 50 miles an hour.
