Central Market Description
Texans flock to their grocery stores for more than just food. Chains like this one have introduced the concept of food stores as entertainment, with live music on their outdoor stages that give new meaning to the phrase "dancing in the aisles." Kids get into the music -- everything from Americana to Middle Eastern -- while hanging from the monkey bars at the on-site playground. Pick up dinner at the Central Market Caf, or grab a nosh (like bread and cheese) from the main store. The music is free.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: The on-site caf offers a full children's menu including macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders.
