Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and Museum Description
If your kids are sports nuts then this is the place for them. They'll find 7,200 square feet of sports-related exhibits, a chance to play virtual-reality basketball, experience the strength-training apparatus used by Olympic swimmers, and play an exciting NASCAR video game. There's also sports memorabilia galore, so leave plenty of time for your kids to locate artifacts associated with their favorite sports hero.
Kid Tips
Babies: Skip this attraction, which is too loud and not interactive enough for little ones.
School-Age Kids: Pick up the student activity book, which is fun to fill out as you go through. And leave time to watch the sports videos.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Skip the booklet and games, and focus on the Olympic training equipment and sports artifacts.
Planning Notes
- Plan ahead. The Hall of Fame closes at 5, and is closed Sundays.
