Adventure Science Center Description
Kids don't have to love science to love the interactive, hands-on exhibits at the Adventure Science Center. Allow your family plenty of time to explore, as it can be hard to peel kids away from the planetarium and "Blue Max" flight simulator. The "colon slide" was voted "best place to explain potty training" by "Nashville Scene" magazine.
Kid Tips
Babies: There's not much here for babies, though the colorful and lively atmosphere will keep them amused.
Toddlers & Pre-K: Steer younger kids away from the adventure tower (it's hard to supervise) and into participatory workshops and exhibits.
School-Age Kids: Kids this age will want plenty of time to do the hands-on activities and explore the adventure tower and BodyQuest exhibit.
Pre-Teens & Teens: For teens, the flight simulator is a must-do; leave time to stand in line, if necessary.
Planning Notes
- Planetarium won't open until summer 2008. Check Website for details.
