Bicentennial Mall Description
Despite it's name this is not a mall but a gigantic park, the most impressive feature of which is a 200-foot granite map of Tennessee, bordered by 31 fountains representing the state's rivers. Many kids will be interested in the 1,400 granite timelines documenting the state's history, which make for a great hopscotch board.
Kid Tips
Babies: It's stroller-friendly, with plenty of room to walk or play.
School-Age Kids: Keep the focus on history, especially for fourth and fifth graders learning about the states.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Boredom will set in quickly, so keep it to a quick walk-around and move on.
Planning Notes
