An elegant estate donated to the city of Nashvile, Cheekwood boasts an art museum, botanical garden, and sculpture trail complete with a startling glass bridge your kids will need to walk over more than once. A popular destination for families, Cheekwood offers a host of programs for kids and seasonal events like the fall scarecrow exhibit.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: On Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, the museum offers their "Tuesdays for Tots" arts and crafts activity classes. No reservations are needed, and there's no extra fee. Just be sure to wear clothes that can get a little messy!
School-Age Kids: Even if they don't appreciate the art inside the museum, they'll enjoy the sculpture trail and gardens outside.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Take advantage of art workshops, nature walks, and botanical lectures.
