Wall Drug Description
During the Depression, Wall Drug stayed afloat by putting signs on the highway offering free ice water to lure travelers into town. Today, the billboards are spread all over the world, and the original owners' grandchildren run a kitschy shopping/dining tourist trap. They still offer 5-cent coffee and free ice water, but you'll spend more on souvenirs, ice cream, gold panning, and even cowboy boots. The restaurant has a pretty impressive collection of Western art, homemade donuts, and reasonable prices, and the adjoining "yard" has stuff to climb on, an animated T-Rex, shows, water spouts (choreographed to western music) to play in, plus various photo props, gold panning, etc.

Planning Notes
- Step 1: Get them out of the car. If parking is full in front of the store, there is a huge lot behind the west side of Main Street.
- Prepare to get wet. Bring a change of clothes -- your kids could get soaked in the water spout playground.
