br/My Husband and I started our stay in Bird in Hand with a buggy ride with Abes Buggy Rides. br/The ride was only 20 minutes long and I thought we were going to get hit with traffic. We br/were under the impression that we would mainly be on country roads. A good half of the ride was in town or subdivision houses. Our drivers name was Irvin. The big surprise came when he told us the owners were not Amish. Abes says on their site an Amish man bought the ride, but no Amish own it now. They dont tell you that. After our ride we went and ate a restruant down the road. When the waitress asked how our stay was going we explained about our buggy ride and the only enjoyable part was getting off. She informed us that the owners are NOT Amish, too
