Broadway in Seaside Description
Broadway ("it's not a street, it's not an avenue, it's just Broadway") is where it all happens in Seaside. Take a spin on an old-fashioned carousel, sample the goodies in dozens of candy "shoppes" (especially the salt water taffy), capture the moment at a faux Wild West photographer's studio, play a round of miniature golf, get woozie on a Tilt-a-Whirl ride, get crazy in bumper cars, and drop some quarters in the arcades, then refuel at a burger joint or seafood restaurant (topped off, naturally, with ice cream).
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: No one under six is allowed to play miniature golf.
School-Age Kids: Riders must be 50 inches or taller to drive the bumper cars without parental assistance.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The area is close to the beach and bustling with arcades —teens will want to spend hours (and lots of money) on Broadway.
Planning Notes
- Park your car and walk. Parking may be difficult to find right on Broadway, but there is plenty of free parking throughout Seaside. Leave the car and experience the town on foot or by surrey.
- Stock up on singles. Each ride is paid for separately, and only cash is accepted.
