Ghostly Manor Thrill Center Description
Roller skating under flashing lights, an XD 3-D theater (read: virtual roller coaster), a well-stocked horror shop, and a truly frightening walk-through haunted house make this a dream destination for anyone who loves scary flicks. The center takes "scary" seriously -- no detail goes unfinished in making this ghastly attraction truly spooky. Even the rink ties in with a video backdrop ranging from camp (Raven Simone) to creepy (Marilyn Manson). Not for the faint of heart; expect to sleep less easily after a visit!
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: The parking lot boasts a themed gate with glowing eyes, which will be frightening for kids school age and under. This venue is best for older kids.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Think of this attraction like a PG-13 horror movie. Some kids under 13 will love it and others will be terrified (not in a good way). If you're not sure, skip it.
Planning Notes
- Scares abound. If the XD 3-D show gets too scary, take off the glasses. Without the 3-D effects, the twists and bumps feel a lot less realistic.
- There's plenty to do. It's easy to please kids of different ages. Drop the big kids at Ghostly Manor, then head to the Friendly's in the parking lot and treat the youngest ones to sundaes.
- Be prepared for gore. The haunted house is graphic, with autopsies, bloody beheadings, and ghastly corpses.
