Progressive Field Description

Peanuts and Cracker Jack are only part of the reason kids will love this ballpark. T-shirt throws, enthusiastic fans, and plenty of opportunities to catch fly balls will keep school-age kids and teens interested even when the right team isn't winning. Ballpark tours are led by lively hosts who will show your little leaguer the bullpen, the batting cages, dugouts, and more. On game days, the whole city seems to get in the Indians spirit, with dinner specials at nearby restaurants, street vendors selling souvenirs and caps, and often kid-friendly celebrations just outside the main gates.

Kid Tips

Babies: Leave the stroller at home. Opt instead to bring baby in a baby carrier for this steep stadium, especially if you're in the upper levels.

Toddlers & Pre-K: A sponsored play area on the mezzanine level offers plenty of room, toys, and climbing equipment for little ones to stretch their legs and let off steam when the game isn't providing enough excitement.

School-Age Kids: Encourage kids to bring a banner, and they might find their way on to the largest scoreboard JumboTron in baseball.

Planning Notes

  • Cheap tickets. No matter where you sit, you'll feel close to the action. Tickets start as low as $9.
  • Plenty to see off the field. If you've got a baseball fan in your family, head to Heritage Park to see pictures, statistics, and biographies of some of the Indians' most-loved players.
