Review for Skyland Farm & Cafe
What we loved:
Cute shop, had a lot of unique gifts.
What we didn't love:
NO cafe!
We arrived at the Skyland Farm & Cafe in August of 2011 expecting to have a nice lunch and get some gifts while the kids played with the farm animals. Arriving we saw a the cat and heard music that was promised on their webpage, but then it sort of went downhill. It is still a great little shop with lots of cute gifts, but there were no u-pick flowers or chicken running about. There was a little sand table with some old toys and what looked like an old chicken house turned sand box. They has some goats and a sheep that you could pet which the kids did enjoy. However they did not have lunch and the owners reported that they havent for a few years. There was some gelato, which Im sure was good, but we didnt try since we were in search of lunch. There was a stone labrynith outside and unmaintained flower gardens. It looks like it was once a very lovely place for lunch with children, but for whatever reason has not been maintained. It is is still a nice place to shop and there is more entertainment for children than most shops provide, but it is not what we were expecting.
