ESPNZone Description
You didn't come to New York City to play arcade games, but your 8-and-up kid may have. You'll probably only see the back of him as he dashes off to play virtual golf or shoot baskets. At the huge ESPN Zone, all under-18s have to be accompanied by parents to enter, so you won't be dealing with the hanging-out-teen factor, and all the games are sports-themed -- no shoot-'em-ups to make you nervous.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: While your older child is playing in the sports arena, treat younger siblings to a milk shake or sudden-death brownie sundae in the restaurant.
Planning Notes
- Give them fuel. Consider having lunch at the ESPN restaurant with your sports-mad children first (the game area is upstairs).
