Children's Museum of Manhattan Description
Preschoolers bustle right into the Little West Side, a pint-sized city environment that sparks the imagination of city dwellers and visitors alike. We haven't seen a bored or passive kid here yet -- there's a toddler sliding down a tree with Boots (the "Dora the Explorer" monkey pal) and here's a 7-year-old getting his hands (and face and feet) wet at City Splash, a (seasonal) outdoor spot. Then there are little ones "feeding" alphabet blocks to Alphy, a talking baby dragon.
Kid Tips
Babies: The ladies' and men's rooms on the third floor have padded infant changing tables with disposable paper liners. Also, strollers are not permitted in the museum -- they must be left at the coat-check.
School-Age Kids: There's not much here for kids 10 and up.
