Santa Fe Children's Museum Description
This is more like an adventure playground masquerading as an educational experience. Younger kids will blow giant bubbles and get their faces painted; older kids will build structures from PVC tubes and scale the climbing wall, and teens will weave, make jewelry, or marvel at the hissing cockroaches from Madagascar. Beware, though: If it's hot out the kids won't want to leave the waterworks area, where they're assured of getting soaking wet.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Small children may be most fascinated by the rabbits in the children's garden.
School-Age Kids: The gift shop sells T-shirts if your kids get drenched in the waterworks area.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The artistically minded will get caught up in the Make and Take exhibit, creating art from found and recycled materials.
