Bandelier National Monument Description
Learning about early Native American culture in school is one thing, seeing ancient cliff dwellings close up is another entirely. The pink mesas and sheer canyon walls of Bandelier National Monument were once home to several thousand people of the Pueblo culture, as the archeological digs along the 1.2-mile Main Loop Trail will attest.
