Jenkinson's Boardwalk Description
It's a shark! But don't worry. They're not in the blue waters off Jenkinson's Beach -- they're safely contained in the tanks of Jenkinson's Aquarium. Your kids will love to watch the penguins and sharks being fed (check the website for exact times). Afterward, head out onto the boardwalk and win one of the giant stuffed animals from the many games of chance or hop on a few rides at the amusement park. Hungry? Satisfy your cravings with delicious food from a number of eateries along the boards.

Babies: Cool ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves will lull most babies to sleep.
Toddlers & Pre-K: There is enough here to occupy short attention spans -- when they get bored at the aquarium, head to the beach or to the amusements.
School-Age Kids: Many of the rides are suitable for this age group and a touch tank lets them pet a real stingray.
Planning Notes
- Pack sunscreen. Whether you're baking on the sand or strolling on the boards, you're going to need some serious UV protection.
- Swimming is prohibited except when lifeguards are on duty between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Check the weather. Rides are only open when weather permits, but the aquarium is open year-round, as are some of the eateries. Still, you'll have a better time if the sun is shining.
