Santa's Village Description
Experience the magic of Christmas at this unique New England classic theme park, opened in 1952. Parents will love the quaintness and nostalgia, while kids from toddlers through young teenagers will enjoy the rides, like the Yule Log Flume, Rudy's Rapid Transit Roller Coaster, and Loopin' Louie's Flying School; and the hands-on interactive experiences. The Elfabet Game will entice little ones, and the Reindeer Rendezvous will delight any animal-lover (you can feed them special cookies sold 3 for $1). The big attraction, of course, is an up-close-and-personal encounter with the big man himself -- Santa Claus.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Many of the park's 17 rides have height requirements, generally 42" or 48," in order for them to ride alone. If accompanied by an adult, however, kids can ride just about anything if they're over the age of two.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The rides are tame here; not something the typical daredevil would necessarily enjoy.
Planning Notes
- Bundle up. If you're going during fall or winter months be sure to dress warmly; it can get chilly in the mountains, even in early autumn.
- Late? No problem! If you arrive within 3 hours of closing, the park will offer you a "Return Pass" to come back any other day of the same year.
- Economize. The park offers two-day passes that will save you approximately $5 per full-price ticket, per day.
Just the Facts

What we loved:
Christmas fun is in the air!!
What we didn't love:
A lot of walking for lttle kids.
Santas Village is a must do at least once. The park is very pretty, in the summer theres tons of flowers everywhere along with the greens of the forest. 2010, they have a new small waterpark area. Its like a kids area at most waterparks with a few small waterslides in it. The kids loved it. Good luck thrying to get them away! The kids loved trying to find their names on the "nice" list, visiting santa, decorating cookies, Elfabet game, and getting nail rings! They have a nice 3d short movie about Santas elf and Bummer cars!! The food was a bit pricy but they have a great kids meal that comes with a frisbe. They have a sweet shop that has real fruit swirl you can get in your soft serve, yum! And one of the ornament shops has just personalize ornaments and gifts. We got a beautiful snowman family to mark the trip. At Christmas time, its all lite up with Christmas lights! Read More

What we loved:
Santas Village is full of fun!
We just loved this attraction as a safe and magical place to visit. I was there as a child, and now bring my grandchildren. We can go on all the rides without long waits. Everyone is friendly--like no other place on earth! Read More
