Borges Carriage Rides Description
The Borges family has been hosting winter sleigh rides and summertime hay and carriage rides for some 40 years. In summer, after the wagon ride and and Western-style barbecue, kids get to dress up like cowboys and cowgirls and ride the family's ponies along a little stretch of the old Pony Express. This is a must-do for the horse-obsessed in your family.

Babies: Babies will be fine to ride in the wagon on a parent's lap.
Toddlers & Pre-K: Younger kids will love seeing the draft horses that pull the wagon.
School-Age Kids: Kids 6 and older can ride the ponies after the wagon ride.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Admittedly this is for the younger set, though horse-lovers of all ages will get something out of it.
Planning Notes
- Rides book up. Make a reservation 48 hours in advance.
- Chow down. If you're traveling with a large group, the family will plan a lunch event for you, if you prefer.
