The Lion King in Las Vegas Description

More than 50 million people worldwide have discovered a visual feast of colorful costumes, lively dancing, and spirited characters in the musical prodution of The Lion King. The brilliant opening number sets the stage to unfold the show's life-affirming theme of setting out on a journey to find one's place in the "Circle of Life." New songs added to the original animated version carry the story through Simba's triumphant return and transformation from unruly, impatient cub to mature and responsible lion with the help of his friends and their popular motto: "Hakuna Matata" ("No worries"). The show will be roaring into Las Vegas for an open run starting in May 2009.
