Review for Clark County Museum
What we loved:
the price, and the historic homes!
What we didn't love:
no food. bring a picnic!
The historc homes are definatly the best feature, as you can go into them and see how each home from a different era was decorated. Mannikans show how people dressed back then too! The wedding chapel was lovely, and the Train depot had wonderful items, like the art deco plates and tea service. The gift shop in the main building has nice and inexpensive toys, and a great selection of books. The gazebo at the end of Heritage Street is shady and relaxing...need to go back again and explore the Ghost Town and Mining trail with my camera...great steam punk machinery to take pictures of!
