Children's Museum of Bozeman Description
Hands-on fun is the name of the game here. Kids ages 2 to 4 will love enacting crazy antics in Puppet Theater, exploring the sensory table, and playing with giant blocks. Kids ages 5 to 7 will get in the Montana spirit by building a log cabin in the Old West, create wild marble runs on the Magnetic Canvas, and make enormous bubbles on the Bubble Wall. Art projects, story times, and music keep everyone entertained. Don't miss Our Big Sky Home, a fabulous natural science exhibit that celebrates the Montana outdoors.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Special activities for wee ones are scheduled every Wednesday morning from 10 to noon. If you're in town for the first Saturday of the month, the Montana Outdoor Science School leads a hands-on science program focused on topics ranging from animals to weather to plant science. Registration is recommended but not required; see the website for schedule and topics.
School-Age Kids: The temporary exhibits tend to be geared toward older children (ages 6 to 8). Check the website under Current Exhibits.
