Kansas City T-Bones Game Description

Take the kids out to a Kansas City T-Bones baseball game for an all-ages, family-centric great time. All sorts of fun contests encourage audience participation between innings, and Sizzle, the bull team mascot, works the crowd throughout the game. All ticket prices are reasonable, starting at $6 for grass seating on the berm and going up to $15 for the plush prime section with its padded seats. Kids can romp on the playground while parents stand within view of the field, or order their own peanuts and Cracker Jack from the pint-sized concession stand.

Kid Tips

Babies: All of the restrooms are equipped with changing tables, and the park is stroller-friendly, too. Infants sitting on laps (and therefore not taking up a seat) do not require a ticket.

Toddlers & Pre-K: Sizzle, the team mascot, will come and say hi (or keep a comfortable distance away and wave) to any kids who beckon to him as he walks through the stands.

School-Age Kids: Both the first pitch and many of the contests that are run between the innings are geared toward kids this age; look for the T-Bones promotions table (behind Sections 106-108) before the game starts and ask if there's any fun stuff the kids can try.

Pre-Teens & Teens: Older kids can join everything from karaoke contests to races on the field during special contests held between innings.

Planning Notes

  • Free parking. Check out the online map of the free parking lot so you can get your bearings before first pitch.
  • Family restrooms. Two family restrooms are equipped with changing tables -- one is on the main level behind home plate and the other is near third base.
  • No outside food or drinks are permitted. A ballpark dinner won't be a hit to your budget, however -- $1 hot dogs are the best bargain in the park.
  • Saturday night fireworks. If you attend a Saturday game, stick around for post-game fireworks.
