Grand Country's Amazing Pets Description
The mainly dog and cat troupe of pet performers (with a few exotic birds added to the mix) in this lively show is made up of mostly rescued animals who have found a calling in delighting children. Led by Sean Paul (the human host) and his monkey sidekick Frankie the pets romp, roll, and regale with their amazing tricks. Volunteers are plucked from the audience to help Frankie and Sean Paul with their tricks, but don't worry -- he prefers to have children as his helpers, not adults.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: For animal-loving kids, this show is not to be missed. The campy jokes and animal antics are right up their alley.
School-Age Kids: Surprisingly, this age range is a very receptive audience for the pet show; a 9-year old remarked that it was by far her favorite stop of the whole trip.
Planning Notes
- Popular pets. The once-a-day show is mighty popular since it's one of the few shows in Branson truly aimed at children. Calling in advance for tickets is essential.
- Go for the Family Pass. Two adults and up to six children are admitted for $59, a significant savings over the per-ticket price.
- Pets on hiatus. The show runs throughout the summer months, then during the Christmas season from just before Christmas through New Year's, and during the last two weeks of March.
