Review for Raven Hill Discovery Center
What we loved:
Outdoor music garden.
What we didn't love:
Price, organization of displays, lots of things
On the up side, they had an interesting display of items that the kids could hit or pluck to make music. Very unique idea, and our boys 3 & 6 loved it.br/ On the down side, at $8 a person and a long drive from Petoskey, I was expecting much more to make it worth while. The displays in the main seemed to just be a jumble of stuff that people had donated becuase they could not think of anything better to do with it. Sort of reminded me of a garage sale without the price tags. There was an old school house, which they could have done a lot more with. A "tree house" had been built, but there was nothing in it, so it was just a run-through and on to the next thing for our boys. There were some trails on the grounds, but no explaining signage to give you a reason to walk it.br/ I think that they have a good idea, but the execution is laking.
