Dennos Museum Discovery Gallery Description
Blink and you might miss one of Traverse City's gems, tucked away along the main road just east of downtown. This small museum houses a distinctive collection of Inuit art and features various musical and dramatic performances. The Discovery Gallery engages kids and adults alike with such features as a digital harp; a wall of colorful, touch-activated musical sounds; and "Recollections," an interactive digital video exhibit that creates captivating kaleidoscopic images sure to entrance even the youngest of visitors.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: In addition to the music and visual exhibits, school age kids will enjoy the Discovery Gallery's video feed of still images from the Hubble Space Telescope.
