Upper Peninsula Children's Museum Description
The U.P. is full of outdoor adventures, but for rainy days -- or when you need a change of pace -- visit the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum. Kids will enjoy manning the controls in a real airplane or climbing through an enormous model of an intestine, part of their Incredible Journey tour of the human body.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Kids this age love the cool, but slightly creepy, Incredible Journey exhibit, where they can crawl into a giant head, journey through a stomach, and slide out through an intestine.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Unless you also have younger kids, you'll want to skip this -- teens won't get anything from it.
Planning Notes
- Check the website for events. There are daily special activities like music, art, and cooking lessons, plus craft-making.
