Wet N Wild Description

This 18-acre water park is a great place to splash and cool off on a hot Cancun day, especially if you want a change from the white sandy beaches and ocean waves. It has a maze of thrilling water slides (some with height requirements), an enormous wave pool, a Lazy River, and even an underwater jungle gym. There's a little kid area for the younger set, and all the food you can eat, as well as drinks, are included in the price of admission. There's also a place at the park where you can pay to swim with dolphins.

  • Water Park

  • Rafting

  • Swimming

  • Live Music Venue

Kid Tips

Babies: The gigantic pool's shallow area is perfect for babies to splash in.

Toddlers & Pre-K: Will have a lot of fun on the underwater jungle gym and splashing in the waves (from Mom's or Dad's arms). Rafting on the Lazy River is great for this age too. (Raft rental costs extra.)

School-Age Kids: "Wow Mommy, this is fun!" one 8-year-old girl said when she saw all the rides and pools at the park. Minimum height requirements for most slides is 42".

Pre-Teens & Teens: Will love the Kamikaze water slide (height requirement: 48") and the other thrilling and enormous water slides.

Planning Notes

  • Bring a towel. Towels are available to rent but you need to bring a picture ID and leave a deposit so you might find it easier just to bring your own.
  • Bring a waterproof bag inside a backpack. You can leave your stuff on a lounge chair or rent a locker (which requires an ID and a deposit) so parents might find it easier to bring a waterproof bag inside a backpack and carry your stuff.
  • Bring a stroller. The park is stroller-friendly and an umbrella stroller is a good place to pile your stuff while you're on the rides.
